Embracing Differences and Sharing Love

From my Heart

My children are each beautifully and wonderfully made in their own way. They have each faced pressure to look like others. Society often tells us how we should look, but fails to remind us to celebrate what makes us unique. My children's struggle to love their own traits led me to write these books to encourage them and other children to celebrate themselves and others around them. I hope that this book inspires kindness and self-appreciation.

I am a wife, mother, Physical Therapist, and New Author. I have two crazy children and a couple of equally crazy cats. In my “free time,” I enjoy baking and playing water polo. My children were my inspiration to become an author, something I never thought I would do. Now I find joy in bringing simple stories of God's beautiful creations to life, celebrating all the different things that make each one of us so special!

The advocacy

Normalizing diversity through gentle story time

We do not write lessons to lecture young minds. Instead, we pull up a chair and invite children to marvel at how beautifully we do not match.

Bring empathy to storytime

Our collection of inclusive picture books brings gentle advocacy to classrooms, cozy bedrooms, and curious young minds.
